In this second in-person Flower Essence Workshop, we will be talking about the moment on the Celtic Wheel of the Year known as Imbolc. Traditionally celebrated on February 1st to the 2nd, Imbolc, meaning in the womb, is a time of feeling into the first stirrings of Spring. On the morning of Saturday, February 11th, we will join together to sense into these stirrings in ourselves.

We will be celebrating the energy of the ancient goddess associated with Imbolc, Brigid. Goddess of hearth and home, birthing and mothering, poetry and craft, we will explore how working with her flame can open us up to creativity and love.

We will work with several flower essences associated with her energy. I will tell the story of a prayer and offering I made to her, and the beautiful results. I will also discuss the first step of flower essence making: making offerings to plants as a way of connecting and opening to their wisdom.
